Greek credit rating remains at BB-: Fitch
(MENAFN) The Greek credit rating is maintained at "BB-" alongside stability in its outlook, as revealed Fitch Ratings.
Greece managed to witness record low yields for its sovereign bonds in July, as noted the global ratings agency in a report.
However, local experts unveiled their forecast for the rating to be revised up within this year.
Ahead of settling on a rating action for Greece, Fitch is waiting for the government record, saying that "it is too early to assess government effectiveness and policy implementation."
"The advent of a single-party majority government should help cement the improvement in political stability seen in recent years," Fitch affirmed.
