Iran, Austria to maintain trade relations
(MENAFN) Iran is assured to still enjoy cooperation and trade relations with Austria in the face of sanctions the United States imposed against the Islamic Republic.
Officials emphasized that even though there are side effects to the U.S. sanctions against Iran, they do not hold a legal impact on Austria.
"However, Austria is ready for exchange of view in various economic fields with Iran and it will continue its relations under the sanctions," an official affirmed.
Austrian firms were also affirmed to be requiring wearing "iron shoes" to access the Iranian market which is considered highly significant.
