Economic growth rate in Morocco climbs to 3 percent
(MENAFN) Last year, the Moroccan economic growth rate stood at 3 percent, a plunge compared to the 4.2 percent growth rate registered in 2017.
Such a decline was attributed by the Moroccan central bank to a slow rebound in non-agricultural sectors.
Meanwhile, unemployment rate in Morocco reached 9.8 percent, a decrease but a high rate among the youth.
Governor of the central bank Abdellatif Jouahri confirmed that economy in Morocco is not sufficient to satisfy increasing social anticipations.
