Mine collapse in Indonesia claims 3 lives

Indonesian disaster agency official said that three people died and another went missing when a tin mine collapsed in Bangka Belitung district in Indonesia.
Aswind Abu Nawar, head of operational and emergency unit of the provincial disaster management agency, said that the accident took place on Saturday at a mine that is owned by Indonesian firm PT Timah, positioned in Silingsing village of Belitung Timur region.
He said that "A hill of sand suddenly fell down and hit miners who were working in the area, burying four out of the 10 miners there".
The miners are colleagues in the company, they work in the mining area and sell their products to the owning firm, search and rescue operators were dispatched into the area and are still undergoing.
