Vietnamese industrial production increases

Vietnamese General Statistics Office said on Monday that Vietnam's national index of industrial production went up 9.4 percent in the first seven months of this year.
The processing and manufacturing sector was the top contributor to the increase, as it increased 10.7 percent and contributed 8.2 percents to the growth.
Water supply and waste management increased 7.6 percent and Electricity production and distribution sector went up 10 percent, both contributing 0.9 and 0.1 percents respectively.
Raw steel and iron production had the most output increase of 57.1 percent, oil and petrol took the 2nd place as it went up 45.1, television set increased 23.9 percent.
