Over 600,000 people affected by drought in Sri Lanka
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Over 600,000 people have been affected by the drought in Sri Lanka, the Disaster Management Centre said today.
The Disaster Management Centre said that 615,984 people from just over 173,000 families have been affected in several districts.
The Northern, North Central, Central and North Western Provinces are the worst affected areas.
