Qatar- Stage set for Marshmello's concert tonight

The stage is all set for tonight's much awaited concert of renowned American electronic music producer and DJ Marshmello at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) Exhibition Hall 9.

Hundreds of electronic music fans are expected to have a blast for this one night only epic show where the masked performer will be playing his smash hits.

An award winning music producer and performer, Marshmello is best known for the songs 'Silence,  'FRIENDS, 'Happier and 'Wolves which have all reached platinum status in a number of countries and have been included in the Top 30 of Billboard Hot 100.

His YouTube videos have been watched more than 6.1 billion times with the music video of his single 'Alone raking in more than 1.3 billion views since it was uploaded three years ago.

Included in Forbes' ranking of the world's highest paid DJs, Marshmello has already collaborated with famous singers and musicians around the world with the likes of Selena Gomez, Anne-Marie, Khalid, Bastille, James Arthur and Lil Peep among others.

In partnership with Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), the concert is produced by The Social Studio and follows the breakthrough success of the show by another electronic music artiste The Chainsmokers who rocked the 5,000 crowd at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center during the Shop Qatar festival last year.

The concert is one of QNTC's diverse entertainment offerings under the ongoing Summer in Qatar programme.

Among the other upcoming shows are the Blue Man show from August 14 to 17, Doha Comedy Festival featuring Omid Djalili, Nemr and Hamad Al Amari on August 15, the eighth South Indian International Music Awards on August 15 and 16 and Arabic music icon Kadim Al Saher's concert on August 16 and 17.

Running until August 16, Summer in Qatar features a plethora of indoor and outdoor events and activities such as summer camps and sports tournaments, live concerts, and family shows in addition to shopping, hospitality and inbound travel promotions.
