(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, July.23 (Petra)-- Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, underlined the government's keenness to develop appropriate solutions to developmental issues in the southern Governorate of Aqaba, which is witnessing a qualitative leap in all economic, tourism and investment fields.
Razzaz made his remarks during a meeting with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, Nayef Bakhit, Aqaba Governorate MPs, President of the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce, Nabil Kabariti, President and Members of the Aqaba Governorate Council, and senior government and Aqaba officials.
He pointed out to the Aqaba's great achievements during the past two decades, in implementation of the Royal Vision towards Aqaba as a commercial, tourism and investment destination that enhanced the status of its ports and reflected on figures, indicators and the outstanding performance of Aqaba's institutions.
The meeting discussed Aqaba's priorities and challenges facing some productive sectors in order to deal with them within a strategy of partnership between various competent authorities.
During the meeting, by which he concluded his visit's work program to Aqaba, Razzaz promised to study all demands and proposals presented by the governorate MPs and members of the governorate council, noting that the sectors of education and health in the governorate, require more attention and follow-up, by various ministries and government agencies concerned.
