Saudi Press: Sport Clubs in KSA's Vision 2030
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, July 23, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the sport sector is being provided with a whole slew of programs and plans of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
In this regard, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, has announced unprecedented financial support for Saudi sport clubs amounted to 2.5 billion riyals provided by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, which affirms the leadership's great attention towards the sport sector, the paper added.
In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Turkish government's deportation of Syrian refugees from its territories is seen as immoral, inhuman and it is totally incompatible with the most basic international norms that do not permit this heinous act.
The paper added that this outrageous act explicitly implies deliberate disregard of international resolutions along with perpetration of inhuman and immoral violations against Syrian refugees fleeing from the brutal war in their country.
