Deadly car accident in Indonesia
(MENAFN) Police said on Saturday that, five people were died after a minivan and a pickup vehicle crashed on a toll road in Indonesia's West Java region.
Police chief of Majalengka District Mariyono said that the accident happened at 23:00 PM Jakarta time on Friday at Cikopo-Palimanan toll road.
The driver of the pickup said that, he lost control of the car which crossed into the opposite lane and crashed with the minivan, Mariyono was quoted by Antara News Agency as saying in West Java province that, It is expected that the driver of the pickup vehicle was sleepy that's why his vehicle crossed into the opposite road lane.
He also said that, after the crash, the two vehicles caught fires causing the death of five people aboard the vehicles; Mariyono also added that, all the victims had been acknowledged.
