Kuwait- PAS launches sports, summer awareness activities
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 20 (KUNA) -- Public Authority for Sport (PAS) on Saturday launched a number of sports and awareness programs and summer activities that cater to the needs of various segments of society, including those with special needs.
Sports and awareness programs include beach tournaments in football, volleyball, basketball, water polo tournament, soap football tournament and sailing championship for young people, said Deputy Director General of Sport for All, Mishal Al-Hadba.
Al-Hadba added that the activities also include the bowling championship for men, card playing, the sports awareness program (reduce your weight) for young people in addition to the organization of summer activities tournaments for people with special needs for both sexes.(end).
