Blast in Syria's Daraa
(MENAFN) State TV reported that, at least 16 civilians were injured on Wednesday when an explosion happened in Syria's southern region of Daraa.
The report also said that, the explosion occurred in the al-Dahiyeh neighborhood in Daraa and additional details about the bombing are still forthcoming.
Daraa is both symbolically and militarily significant for the Syrian army, as the birthplace of the Syrian war that erupted in 2011, which won a big victory by recapturing the province from the rebels in 2018.
