Afghanistan- 4 Taliban Killed in Farah Airstrike
(MENAFN- Daily Outlook Afghanistan) FARAH CITY - Four Taliban militants have been killed in an airstrike inwestern Farah province, police said on Saturday, but another source said thedead included two children.
Police spokesman Muhibullah Mohib said four Taliban insurgents were killedin the foreign forces airstrike in Diwar-i-Surkh village of Khak-i-Safaiddistrict on Friday.
But a reliable source in the locality said two Taliban and as many childrenwere killed in the airstrike.
The source added the children were travelling in a car with their Talibanfathers when they came under attack from the air.
Police, however, rejected the killing of two children in the airstrike.
Separately, three Taliban were killed in a security forces night raid inBalaboluk district, Hashmat Ahmadi, a military spokesman said. (Pajhwok)
