(MENAFN) Algeria was announced to have ratified a Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) agreement with China via presidential decree that interim President Abdelkader Bensalah signed.
Under the memorandum of understanding which was ratified on the BRI, Algeria is joining hands with China in various areas including policies coordination.
Both countries will also be collaborating on infrastructure interdependence among other fields within the agreement framework.
It comes as Algeria established massive infrastructure projects that are expected to allow the North African nation to benefit greatly from BRI.
