Trade ties between Sudan, Turkey to flourish
(MENAFN) Sudan explored with Turkey means to strengthen their bilateral relations in the trade domain, reaching an agreement to reinforce banking, agriculture, health, aviation and education cooperation.
Cooperation committees of Sudan and Turkey further agreed to boost collaboration in art and culture sectors.
Discussions between the two countries have occurred for the first time since former President Omar al-Bashir was overthrown in April.
A statement said: "undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry, Omer Dahab, has discussed the bilateral relations with Turkish Ambassador to Khartoum Irfan Neziroglu in bilateral trade, banking sector, agriculture, education, aviation, culture and arts."
