Tunisia: train accident wounds 15 in Sousse


(MENAFN) On Monday, three locomotives on a public train overturned in Sousse, central-east of Tunisia, causes wounds to 15 passengers, two of them are in critical conditions, according to civil defense authorities.

The accident occurred this afternoon when three locomotives of a passenger train that moved from the capital Tunis towards Mahdia's coastal province of Sousse separated from the body of the train, Jaloul Jaballah, the regional director of Civil Protection in Sousse, affirmed in a statement.

The civil defense units and a number of ambulances were sent to the location where the accident took place, and transferred the inured people to nearby hospitals in the same place.
