Two quacks in northwestern Myanmar in one day


(MENAFN) On Tuesday slight earthquakes shock Myanmar's Sagaing region two times in single day.

An earthquake of 4.4 magnitudes hit at 11:00 AM, according to the Meteorology and Hydrology Department.

A 4.3-magnitude quake also struck at 9:32 AM with an epicenter monitored at 22.5 km west-northwest of Yinmarbin town and 144.8 km southwest of Kanbalu seismological observatory in the same region, on the same day in the morning.


The earthquake of 4.4 magnitudes epicenter was checked at 24.1 km southeast of Mawlaik and 78.9 km southeast of Tamu seismological observatory in Sagaing region, with 102 km of depth.

So far there are no damages caused by the quakes.
