Sri Lanka- CID to probe allegations over 20 killed under Sharia law
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) is to investigate claims that over 20 people have been killed under the Sharia law.
The allegation was made by the Venerable Medagoda Abayatissa Thero.
Acting Inspector General of Police C.D. Wickramaratne has instructed the CID to investigate the claims. (Colombo Gazette)
