Air attack kills 7, wounds 8 in Libya


(MENAFN) Seven Moroccan migrants were murdered in an air attack that struck migrant center in Tajoura, east of the Libyan capital Tripoli.

As many as 18 Moroccan national were at the migrant center when it was struck by the air attack, eight wounded and three others missed, emphasized the statement of the Moroccan Foreign Affairs Ministry late Saturday.

Morocco is working in collaboration with the Libyan government for the evacuation of the injured and the return of the bodies, it affirmed.

Libya is a key leaving place for irregular migrants from African and Arab nations attempting to reach Europe by sea.
