Bad weather in Ukraine leaves 525 towns and villages without electricity


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Adverse weather conditions have left 525 populated areas in 13 regions of Ukraine without electricity, four people  have been injured as a result of the fall of trees, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported.

'As of 7 a.m., July 3, bad weather conditions (strong wind, rain, hail) caused blackouts in 525 populated areas in 13 regions, in particular: Dnipropetrovsk region 163 populated areas, Chernihiv region 110, Vinnytsia region 57, Mykolaiv region 41, Chernivtsi region 38, Kirovohrad region 35, Donetsk region 26, Luhansk region 14, Zaporizhzhia region 12, Zhytomyr region 11, Sumy region 9, Cherkasy region 6, and Kyiv region 3, reads the report.

Emergency teams of regional power distribution companies have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
