Lebanese, Saudi Arabian officials agree to activate bilateral economic pacts


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Lebanese Industry Minister Wael Abou Faour and Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Al-Bukhari decided to activate investment and economic pacts between the both nations, the National News Agency (NNA) reported.

A statement published by NNA affirmed, "The two sides discussed the potential of expanding and enhancing food industries in Lebanon which can cater to the needs of people in the kingdom and the rest of the Gulf".

Abou Faour stated that the level of economic and political cooperation in increasing with Saudi Arabia.

He emphasized, "We should preserve our cooperation and we will work on strengthening economic exchange between the two countries".
