Saudi- KSA Gifts Sri Lanka 150 Tons of Dates


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Colombo, June 18, 2019, SPA -- Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Sri Lanka Abdulnasser Al-Harthi handed over today 150 tons of dates as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Sri Lanka.
The gift was received by Secretary of Sri Lanka's Ministry of Posts, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs Marina Mohammed, in the presence of representatives of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Ministry of Finance.
The gift comes within the framework of aid programs being provided by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for a number of brotherly and friendly countries in order to be delivered to neediest families.
