Telaeris Announces New Integration with Kantech Entrapass Access Control
(MENAFN- PRLog) Telaeris , a physical security and safety solutions company, specializing in rugged handheld readers for mobile entry / exit tracking, employee accountability, emergency mustering, and identity validation, announces today atIFSEC Internationalthe integration of its XPressEntry system with TycoKantech'sEntrapass access control system, from Johnson Controls. Kantech customers can now add Telaeris' XPressEntry handheld badge readers directly into the Entrapass system, providing a wide array of new security and safety features. XPressEntry proudly leads the industry with both the most PACS integrations and the most badge technologies available from a handheld reader.
Telaeris' XPressEntry integration was completed through Kantech's Connected Program and requires customers to register with Kantech to add XPressEntry readers to their system.
"Working with Telaeris continues to be a positive experience that enhances our ability to deliver holistic solutions for a wide range of applications," said Kelsey Bourk, Product Manager, Tyco Security Products. "The reliability and ease of integration between these two powerful open platform solutions makes it easier to implement feature-rich, integrated network solutions."
Most access control systems are limited by the physical placement of the badge readers at doors and entryways, defined by the facility design. Kantech customers are no longer limited by these wall mounted badge readers and can now take advantage of XPressEntry's completely mobile handheld badge readers. This allows for badge verification at events, meetings, company off-sites, employee shuttles and buses, and in many more scenarios. In the event of an emergency evacuation, Kantech customers can additionally put the power of XPressEntry readers in the hands of their security personnel for roll call at evacuation or mustering points, in any location, either on or offsite. XPressEntry quickly verifies personnel and visitors as safely accounted for and most importantly, with LTE and WIFI capabilities, can identify missing people and their last recorded location to help save lives.
"Demands for improved safety and physical security are constantly being requested as businesses grow and needs evolve," says David Carta, CEO of Telaeris. "Telaeris is delighted to add the Kantech Entrapass access control system to the XPressEntry family of integrations and to be able to provide these customers with the best solution for handheld badge verification and emergency mustering."
XPressEntry enhances existing physical access control systems (PACS) with handheld badge verification and employee mustering functionality at refineries, commercial businesses, manufacturing, and government facilities worldwide.
