Lightning kills 12 prizebreeding cattle


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) LIGHTNING struck and killed 12 breeding cattle sheltering under a tree this weekend in the district of Mariato , in Llano de Cativa,Veraguas. The farm belongs to Venezuelan producer, Juan José Castillo. Two Beef Master breeding bulls, valued at over $5000 apiece were killed along with 10 cows for the reproduction of the herd. Other cattle farmers have reported stock struck by lightning.
