Myanmar renews deal for media ties
(MENAFN) Myanmar was announced to have renewed a memorandum of understanding sealed with a couple of international media institutes.
Expiring by March next year, the agreement encourages media collaboration between Myanmar, Denmark's International Media Support (IMS) and Sweden's Fojo Media Institute.
As per the deal, the three sides will be organizing media development conference, conducting ethnic media conference and fulfilling four pillars of judiciary, executive, legislature and media.
Joining hands with global organizations, they are also looking to launch multi-media training classes along with pilot projects for radio program.
