1st ever entrepreneurship policy in Botswana to be drafted


(MENAFN) Botswana and the World Bank (WB) are joining hands in a move to draft a national entrepreneurship policy for the southern African country.

WB's office in Botswana and the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry are cooperating for the first national entrepreneurship policy in the history of Botswana to come to life.

Through the move, the WB is looking to spur economic diversification within Botswana, confirmed WB representative in the country Xavier Furtado.

Furtado further added that the WB is seeking to guarantee that the move assists "needs, challenges and priorities of key stakeholders in the entrepreneurship network of Botswana."
