Cooperation deal penned between Qatar's Qeeri, Japan's Mana


(MENAFN) Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (Qeeri) penned a memorandum of understanding with Japan's the International Centre for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (Mana) at the National Institute for Materials Science (Nims).

Under the agreement, the two Qatari and Japanese sides will be boosting relations and cooperation in science and research.

Disruptive Technologies Programme of Qeeri, as per the deal, will have its researches engage in join works for creating a number of nano-electronic devices that consist of sensors and quantum electronics.

"Qeeri is committed to developing partnerships and collaborations that can support Qatar in attaining its research, technology, and development goals," stated Qeeri's executive director Dr Marc Vermeersch.

Vermeersch added: "this MoU with a prestigious institute such as Mana at Nims will help Qeeri enhance our research capabilities and allow us to learn and empower our researchers."
