(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June.15 (Petra) -- Jerash Attorney General Ibrahim Thnaibat instructed the judicial police in Jerash, northwest Amman, to arrest a person who abused child of his relatives, according to a video via social media.
Irbid Attorney General Judge Nasser Qadi told Petra that the Public Prosecutor's Office issued an order to the Jerash Attorney-General to arrest that person, present him before the Public Prosecution to interrogate him, noting that the Public Prosecution represents minors in the absence of a guardian or a conflict of interest.
Qadi added that the child was deposited with the Family Protection Center in Jerash and that he is in good health.
The Prosecution is expected to charge to the abuser with offenses of abuse and violation of the Cyber Crime Act.
