Qatar- QFA chief meets Brazilian president
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), exchanged souvenirs with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro before the international friendly on Wednesday night.
Brazil hosted Qatar in the friendly which was won by the latter 2-0 after an entertaining clash.
HE Ibrahim al-Abdullah, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Brazil, was also present. The QFA President wished Brazil success in qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be played in Qatar.
The Brazilian President thanked the Qatar delegation for the visit and the wishes. Brazil staged the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games two years later.
