First Palestinian solar park to be launched soon
(MENAFN) Palestine is ready to commence its very first solar park, built with 7.5 MW of capacity, in June this year.
The Noor Jericho photovoltaic (PV) park is in line with Noor Palestine, a wide 200 MW solar energy project that will be active over an eight-year period.
Board chairman of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) Mohammad Mustafa revealed the PV park to be established at a worth of USD200 million.
Investments of around USD10 million are unveiled to be needed for the 7.5-MW Noor Jericho project.
