Kuwaiti foundation proposes teaching peace at schools
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 25 (KUNA) -- Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation will present, at the upcoming "global forum for culture of peace" due at the International Court of Justice in the Hague, additional subjects to educational curricula.
The foundation, in a press release on Saturday, said it would present during the forum, due on June 13, inclusion of new themes into the teaching curriculums; mostly tackling peace and human rights, peace and humanity development and democracy as a path toward peace.
The foundation head, Abdulaziz Al-Babtain, indicated in a statement that the additional subjects tackle peace as a core issue.
The proposed themes, mainly about peace, are designed for various scholastic levels. (end)
