Jordan- Stock market closes daily session at JD2.7 million

Amman, May 21 (Petra) -- The domestic stock market on Monday closed the session with a trading value of JD2.7 million.
When the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed, 3.1 million shares were traded through 1,664 transactions.
The stock index dropped 0.77 percent at the 1,816 points, compared to yesterday's session.
Some 98 companies traded shares in the market, of those 33 firms' shares spiked, while 27 companies declined.
