Former Namibian vice president Iyambo dies at 83
(MENAFN) On Sunday, Namibian President Hage Geingob proclaimed the passing away of his previous vice president, Nickey Iyambo.
Iyambo was about to turn 83 years old and resigned in 2018 because of suffering several health problems.
He passed away on early Sunday morning.
Geingob emphasized in a statement, "I announce with sadness the passing of my comrade, former Vice President, Nickey Iyambo. He leaves behind a rich legacy of loyal service to the Namibian people".
