3 PKK terrorist 'neutralized' in Turkey's Siirt


(MENAFN) On Friday, Turkish Interior Ministry affirmed that Turkish security forces managed to "neutralize" three PKK terrorists in the southeastern Siirt province.

Turkish government use the term "neutralize" in their statements to indicate that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were murdered of arrested.

The ministry stated in a statement that gendarmerie forces in the rural area of the Eruh district conducted an anti-terror operation.

Later, the ministry emphasized a village guard passed away because of injuries sustained during the attack against the PKK terrorists in Eruh, which also caused wounds to another guard.
