Palestinian minister, Jordanian envoy discuss cooperation in transportation
Ramallah, May 14 (Petra) -- Head of the Jordanian Representation Office to Palestine, Muhammad Abu Windi, and Palestinian Minister of Transportation, Assem Salem, Tuesday discussed in a meeting held in Ramallah means to enhance Jordanian-Palestinian cooperation in the field of transportation.
Salem emphasized the deep-rooted and fraternal bilateral ties, stressing that Jordan's leadership and people "have a special place in the hearts of the Palestinian people," and that the Kingdom has always been at the forefront of countries supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause at international forums.
He said that the ministry is keen to enhancing bilateral cooperation in transportation and to benefit from the Jordan in this regard.
For his part, Abu Windi expressed his deep gratitude for Salem and the ministry staff for their hospitality, underscoring Jordan's keenness to bolster "constructive and fruitful" cooperation with the Palestinian people in all fields.
