Bahraini PM, Huawei's representatives review telecom enhancement

(MENAFN) Bahraini Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on Monday has welcomed representatives Chinese technology giant Huawei to look into measures seeking further enhance the information and telecommunication sector in Bahrain.

Mark Xueman, the company's vice president of public affairs declared that Huawei has been conducting in Bahrain for 15 years and has managed to serve clients regionally and further.

He hailed Bahrain's "attractive investment climate and a sound infrastructure that earned the kingdom a leading place in the information and telecommunication field in the Middle East," according to the Bahrain News Agency.

He added: "The kingdom's success in attracting major international companies is a boost to the national economy and an assertion of global confidence in Bahrain's investment climate and its ability to grow".
