Weather improves drastically in Jordan

(MENAFN) A tangible drop in temperatures is expected Tuesday, bringing pleasant conditions across the hilly areas and plains, and moderate in Aqaba, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust in the desert.

Daytime temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach 24 degrees Celsius, 23 in the northern cities and 22 in southern cities, dropping down at night to 11 and 9 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 33 degrees and lows sliding to 18, the JMD said further.

Another drop in mercury levels will occur on Wednesday, but similar pleasant and moderate weather will continue in most regions, with clouds at low altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said.
