MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Festival of Ukrainian Culture, which will be held in Lebanon in May, represents the best examples of culture and art of our country, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Lebanese Republic has reported.
'Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Lebanese Republic and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Lebanese Republic, the Festival of Ukrainian Culture in Lebanon will be held in historic sites in the cities of Beirut, Byblos, Zahle, Tripoli and Saida between May 8 and May 23, 2019, the report reads.
The purpose of the festival is to present Ukraine with its multifaceted cultural traditions and introduce its best heritage of song, music and fine arts. The festival aims at boosting cultural exchange between Ukraine and Lebanon and enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries.
Attendants of the festival will be able to get to know better Ukraine's cultural traditions by listening to their music and enjoying exhibitions of Ukrainian clothes, food, and artists. Festival guests will be able to attend the concert of Jamala, the famous Ukrainian singer, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest. This will be her first concert in the Middle East.
