Afghanistan: 12 militants die in evacuation operations
(MENAFN) Provincial government spokesman Arefu Nuri declared that up to 12 militants have died as government forces initiated evacuation missions outside Ghazni city, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni province.
The evacuation missions were initiated on Thursday afternoon and so far many villages have been evacuated of militants, forcing militants to escape leaving 12 corpses behind.
Taliban militants who run areas of the relatively restive province, have not made any statements yet.
