Algerian forces destroy terrorist hideouts by locally made drones
(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Algerian Defense Ministry proclaimed that the Algerian army used for the first time locally made drones to damage hideouts of terrorist groups.
The ministry affirmed in a statement that following an aerial investigation conducted by the drone "Algeria 54" on Sunday and Monday, several hideouts of terrorist groups were completely damaged by two other drones.
The statement added that the drones were already verified in last December under the management of Algerian Army Chief of Staff Ahmed Gaid Salah.
The statement emphasized, "These aircrafts were manufactured in Algeria with national competencies including engineers and technicians of the National People's Army".
