Greece: Easter celebration's gunshots, fireworks kills 1, injures 3
(MENAFN) A Greek cameraman has died as three minors were wounded from a gunshot and fireworks during four unrelated incidents across Greece, as Greek Orthodox Christians celebrated Easter on Sunday.
Local "Ethnos" (Nation) newspaper revealed that the cameraman received deadly hit by fireworks during a display on Sunday afternoon at the city of Kalamata in southern Greece.
A girl aged 8 was admitted in severe state at an Athens hospital, after being struck in the head by an aimless bullet in Thiva city, an hour drive northwest from the Greek capital, according to local Alpha television channel.
The girl was playing with friends outdoors when the incident took place, meanwhile, police have not made any detentions yet.
