Ukraine, China mull infrastructure cooperation


(MENAFN) Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure said representatives of the government have discussed prospects for infrastructure cooperation with Chinese officials and business people.

During a visit to Beijing, a Ukrainian government delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv held meetings with representatives of China's Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Commerce, Export-Import Bank of China and China's investment companies.

Both sides discussed opportunities of joint infrastructure projects, including the construction of a bridge over the Dnieper River in Kremenchuk city in Ukraine's central Poltava region.

Moreover, the delegation also participated in the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
