Amman, April 24 (Petra)- The media office at Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) said firefighters and paramedics at the Mafraq civil defense department on Wednesday dealt with a fire in three caravans in the Zaatari refugee camp, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old Syrian national after he suffered severe body burns.

The fire extinguishers worked to put out the blaze, and to prevent it from ripping through to adjacent caravans, while ambulances evacuated the dead body to Mafraq government hospital, the CDD pointed out.
