Bosnia seeks to boost economic relations with Iran


(MENAFN) Special Aide to Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Minister on Bilateral Affairs proclaimed the country's keenness to enhance cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the trade, economy sectors in addition to cultural and scientific fields.

In the meeting on Tuesday with of Morteza Saffari Natanzi, chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, Ahmet Halilovic referred to the long-standing relationship between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran, stating that the both nations enjoy deep ties with each other, based on which bilateral ties can be extended exponentially.

The top official continued to emphasized that the Bosnia-Herzegovina Parliament and the government is welcoming the boosting of bilateral ties, adding that Bosnia-Herzegovina is working to enhance cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of commercial and economic affairs.

In addition to highlighting the significance of economic and trade ties, he also urged the development of cooperation in the cultural and scientific fields.
