Kuwait- Acting PM meets Canada DM

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 23 (KUNA) -- Acting Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Acting Interior Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met visiting Canadian Defense Minister Harjit Sajjan at Bayan Palace on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Sheikh Nasser said such visits contribute to promoting cooperation between both friendly countries, the Defense Ministry said in a press statement.
He stressed deep relations between Kuwait and Canada and pointed out mutual willingness to bolster and consolidate bilateral ties, according to the statement.
The Canadian minister arrived in Kuwait on Monday evening on an official visit. (end) am.ha.mt
