Bulgaria records grow in Measles cases


(MENAFN) The country's Ministry of Health declared that the confirmed measles cases in Bulgaria has risen to 463 since the first case was recorded in February.

This is the highest toll registered in nine years.

The country's Ministry of Health confirmed that the highly infectious majorly affected Sofia Region, Blagoevgrad Region and Sofia city with 165 cases, 136 cases and 134 cases respectively,

In efforts to block the expansion of the illness, a national coordination council for the control of measles has been formed.
