Russian warplanes conduct 12 attacks against on Idlib against rebels positions


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Russian aircrafts carried out 12 air attacks on rebel locations in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib after midnight, a war monitor reported.

The air attacks hit the vicinity of the Idlib central jail and the towns of Falioun, Korin, and Bakflon on the western outskirts of the Idlib, stated the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The UK-based watchdog group emphasized that the air raids caused heavy destruction without reports of human casualties.

It claimed that the Russian air attacks came after coordination with the Turkish side, which is coordinating with several rebel groups in Idlib.
