(MENAFN) More than USD.87 billion of foreign investments entered Myanmar's sectors in first half of present fiscal year 2018-2019, according to the statistics from the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA).
As of March 31 in FY 2018-19 which started in October 2018, at least 139 foreign ventures were permitted.
Transport and communication sector outdid the list with more than USD680 million, followed by manufacturing with more than USD601 million.
During the period, Singapore was listed as biggest investor with more than USD1.1 billion investments, the statistics affirmed.
