(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 21 (KUNA) -- 1976 -- Late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah issues law organizing trade with sales prices.
1988 -- Kuwaitis, headed by late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, receive passengers of Kuwait Airways' 'Al-Jabriya' plane, which was hijacked for 16 days, during which two Kuwaiti citizens were killed.
1992 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issues decree according to which the Social Development Office is established to study the psychological impacts of the Iraqi occupation.
2000 -- Kuwait forms national committee to follow up the implementation of international agreements concerning weapons of mass destruction.
2001 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah receives an award from an international institute for establishing the Social Development Bureau in Kuwait in 1992.
2016 -- Intra-Yemeni peace talks launch in Kuwait. (end) hb
