Chad: 63 Boko Haram militants die in clashes with soldiers
(MENAFN) The military declared that the Chadian army has shoot dead 63 members of the Boko Haram terror group on Sunday night in the Lac region.
The military added that 7 Chadian troopers have died as a dozen more were injured while retaliating against Boko Haram attack around midnight on an army position in Mbohama, in the sub-prefecture of Kaiga Kindjiri.
This is the second ambush carried out by Boko Haram in the past weeks.
In mid-March, also in the Lac region, over 23 Chadian troopers have died in a Boko Haram attack.
